My main reason for producing Animated Modularity: Arrangements in Space was to demonstrate how my modular paintings could be moved into an infinite number of arrangements. By moving around my interchangeable panels, the viewer can see how these panels can be added, removed, turned upside down, stacked, and viewed either horizontally or vertically. Animated Modularity, underwritten by the National Endowment for the Arts and Kansas Arts Commission, received an Emmy in the Kansas Annual Film Festival.
