URBAN ART
My urbanscapes explore architectural spaces and their psychological impacts. I weave together all the elements that go into creating the urban environment––skyscrapers, skylines, old buildings, structural elements of bridges, steel girders, fire escapes, signs, locations that reek of the night, back doors to nightclubs, and so on––to create a mystery and drama reminiscent of the classic Hollywood noir films of the 1940s and 1950s.
